Двудневният българско-японски форум Въображението на философията ще представи в лекционен и семинарен формат актуалните изследвания на японски и български философи и теоретици на изкуството. Предложената експериментална тема, Въображението на философията, предполага не само обсъждането на категорията въображение в рамките на философията, но и на способността на философията да въобразява понятия, да произвежда рефлексивни образи и фигури.

Форумът ще се проведе на английски език. Program in English below

Онзи, който се бунтува, може да бъде мислещ. Ти можеш да се бунтуваш дори за правото да поставяш всичко по въпрос. Това каза за предаването „Хоризонт до обед“ редакторът на онлайн списание „Пирон“, чиито извънреден брой е посветен на новите форми на бунта, Дарин Тенев Камелия Спасова, също редактор в списанието, коментира, че вдъхновението за темата на броя е дошло от лекция на френско-българска изследователка — психоаналитик, лингвист, семиотик, философ Юлия Кръстева: Има една друга форма, към която се опитваме да насочим – формата на мислене. Има бързи и бавни жестове на разбунтуване. Бързите са ефективни, но прекъсват точно възможността за диалог.

“The Sublime and the Uncanny”

The international forum „The Sublime and the Uncanny“ will be held between the 2nd and the 4th of March 2015 in the New Conference Room of the Sofia University. It is organized by the University of Tokyo Center for Philosophy (UTCP), the Sofia Literary Theory Seminar and the Cultural Centre of Sofia University. The forum is interdisciplinary and focuses on the notions of ‘the Sublime’ and ‘das Unheimliche’, which play a crucial role not only in 20th century but also in contemporary critical discourses.

It will pose the question of the correlation and heuristic potential of these notions in the time of redefinition of the understanding of human intellect, respectively – the status of the (in)human. The forum will expose in a new perspective the topics of the „Metamorphosis and Catastrophe“ symposium, held at the beginning of November 2013.
